Concussion In Youth Sports Summit

Coaches, Parents and Health Professionals Invited!

The BIANJ is hosting a second Concussion in Youth Sports Summit on June 22, 2017 at the Middlesex Fire Academy in Sayreville, New Jersey. As you know, the first Summit was held on February 24th 2006 at Giants Stadium. That meeting was the first time New Jersey organizations came together in a combined effort to address concussions in youth sports. We have all worked hard both independently and collaboratively since then and made significant improvements in the way concussions are managed throughout New Jersey at our many concussion centers, in private practices, in schools, and other sports organizations. Our collective understanding of concussion is dramatically improved and continues to improve as new research answers some of our questions. I am certain we all agree that there is still work to be done

Attendance is free due to underwriting from the Traumatic Brain Injury Fund administered by the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Disability Services.

The brochure and online registration for the Summit is here: http://bianj.org/concussion-summit/. Seating is limited; please register by Friday June 1, 2017. Feel free to contact me at 732-745-0200, or via email with any questions regarding this event.

Best,

Joanna
