National Night Out August 1st, 2017
Warren County Police Explorers Post 2100
Take on Distracted Driving and Pedestrians
Warren County Police Explorers Post 2100 took the time at National Night Out in Warren County to work with the residents on distracted driving, distracted pedestrians and impaired driving.
Bob Wheatly, Law and Public Safety Instructor at Warren County Technical School coordinated the effort with the explorers who are based out of the HS. “It was a great night. The residents were out in force to enjoy the evening with law enforcement and the explorers were ready to share their knowledge”.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.
Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Northern NJ Safe Kids / Safe Communities and Morristown Medical Center is happy to support the Warren County Police Explorers with materials and safety displays to use for all their programs.
Great Job Warren County and Explorer Post 2100!
