Northern NJ Safe Kids / Safe Communities was thrilled to work with 5 towns for the 2025 National Night Out Event.
Denville, Rockaway Boro, Pompton Lakes, Newton and Chester held events last week.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
We contributed to the event with a Bicycle Safety Exhibit that included a helmet fitting station at each town.
Over 400 helmets were distributed to children and adults.
Bike and pedestrian crashes are on the rise. Take precautions when riding and walking.
Utilize safety equipment, a helmet, lights and reflective clothing, know the rules of the road and stay aware!
We want to that all the towns mentioned above for the invite.
