Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving: Designate a Sober Driver
On the Road
Choose a designated driver before you go out.
Drunk driving injuries and fatalities occur year-round, but the roadways can be particularly dangerous during the holidays.
Keep friends and family safe with these tips from the Northern NJ Safe Kids / Safe Communities and the Trauma Service of Morristown Medical Center.
- Choose a designated driver before you go out.
- Know your own limits. Impairment actually begins at levels below .08% BAC, the legal limit to drive.
- Take a taxi instead; it costs less than DUI arrest, accident, or fatality.
